Show DEPUTIES RESTORE SHEEP TO LOCAL COMPANY Forty head of owe--, and thirty head of lambs, which form the basis of an action filed Saturday In the district court by Hansen Livestock and Feeding Company against Nick and Joe Kanellos, and seized by the sheriff's deputies under a replevin bond, have been broucht to the Tnlon Stock yards at Ogden where they will be held, pending the outcome of the ease. The sheep were seized by the sher lff's deputies Saturday and the drive to Ogden from Ogden valley was made. It was stated that a criminal action may follow the civil action In tho district dis-trict court, as the sheep are said to have been taken from a herd belonging belong-ing to the Hansen eompnny. The identification of the sheep was made Friday afternoon near the Ka-aellos Ka-aellos ranch by a Spanish sheepherder in the employe of the Hansen company. com-pany. It is stated that the horder was able to point out the mother in tho large corral separated from the lambs. The Iambs would be taken up and placed In the large corral and would then go to the mother designated by the herder. It was stated the herder was able to pick out the lambs and mother in the entire lot of thirty sheep. According to the sheriff's department depart-ment an examination of the brands upon the sheep disclosed that an attempt at-tempt had been made to take out the! paint of tmb Hansen brand and mark I oew brand. |
