Karl Hopkins of the Ogden school systems sys-tems at a luncheon at the Weber club yesterday. commented on the, work of the Ogden school children and his talk in part follows: "I wish to congratulate the city of Ogden for its spirit of co-operation1 and for its educational program, interested in-terested in school-directed home gardens gar-dens I have been impressed with the good work of the past and with the plans for 102". "The 'bulb project' which is now un der way in the schools has our hearty commendation. Six thousand seven hundred and eighty bulbs will be' planted, cared for and brought to per-! f ctiun this year by the boys and girls No doubt the economic value of these j flowers in the open market can be estimated esti-mated easily but the educational values, val-ues, biological, mental and physical, which are absorbed in the process, can 1 not be measured.
