Show MAY FESTIVAL THIS EVENING AT THE STATE SCHOOL FOR DEAF AND DLIND CHILDREN Superintendent Frank M. Drigga of the state school for the deaf and blind announced this morning that everything every-thing is in readiness for the annual May festival which begins this afternoon after-noon at the institution, at 5 o'clock The visitors will see the pupils of the school in a display on the lawn where Class room and workshop exhibits will be given, showing the actual operation and the methods employed to teach. Advanced classes in both the blind and deaf department will show the fine results attained by the pchool. Following the class display, the danre festival will be staged In' this will be included several fanciful numbers by tbe children of the school. A chorus of blind rhildren will sing J the cantata, "The May Day," and the deaf children will carry out the story of the song by their dancing This will start at 6 o'clock. The school buildings and grounds have been appropriately ap-propriately decorated for the occasion |
