Show OGDEN NEXT MEETING PLACE OF ROYAL ARCH MASONS PROVO, May 9. At the annual convocation con-vocation of the Grand Chapter, Royal Arch Masons of Utah, held yesterday, Prank Porter Sherwood of Salt Lake w;is chosen most excellent high priest. During the noon recess tbe annual convention of anointed high priests was held and officers elected. At the afternoon session the following follow-ing officers were elected and installed: Grand hlsh priest, F. P. Sherwood, Salt Lake; deputy grand high priest. C D Densmore. Ogden; grand king, L. B. Wight. Park City; grand scribe, ;. W Lynch, Salt Lake; grand treasurer. treas-urer. H M Chamberlain. Salt Lake; grand secretary, Waller Daniels, Sail Lake, grand chaplain, the Rev. Peter A Simpkin, Salt Lake; grand lecturer, A. E. Weatherby, Ogden; grand captain cap-tain of heat, Dr R. W Fisher, Salt Lake, crand principal sojourner. Dr. Warren Benjamin, Salt Lake; crand royal arch captain, Dr. E. A Tripp. Salt Lake: grand master of the third veil, L. L. Donnan, Trove, crand master mas-ter of the second veil. Daniel Konold Park City; grand master of the first veil, Matt Gilmore, Price; grand sentinel. sen-tinel. Charles r Shields, I'ark City; grand correspondent, A. S. Chapman, Salt Lake. Ogden was selected as the place for the next annual meeting, which v. ill be May 7, 1919. In the evening the risking Masons were the guests of the Provo chapter at a banquet given in the I O O. F. hall Past Grand High Priest S. H. (roodwin officiated as toastmaster. Many interesting speeches were made, all breathinc earnest fraternal and patriotic pa-triotic feeling. nn |
