Kay, has left for France, Lieutenant Kay passed through Ogden Og-den about a month ago. paying his par-j par-j ents a brief few hours visit, from Camp Fremont, Ca!., for overseas, but upon his arrival in tho east, he was called upon and pressed into service by the war department to perform expert treatment in the Spanish influenza epidemic, epi-demic, where the disease was then raging in tho most severe form. He was sent to Pennsylvania, whore the influenza was clafciing its victims by the hundreds, remaining there until the malady had greatly subsided, after which he lert for overseas duty. -oo |
