Show MOMENT TO -. SDLDiER BOYS Acting upon a resolution submitted by Commissioner Milos L. Jones, the city commissioners at their meeting last night set aside a plot of ground Including six lots as a place for a suitable monument to Ogden soldiers who have fallen or who may fall in action during the present war. Following is the report and resolution resolu-tion that was adopted i "At the present lime there is no lots or plot of ground in the city cemetery cem-etery that has been set asldo for public pub-lic purposes, such as a rest spot or place for the erection of a suitable monument in commemoration of any particular event, or in honor of individuals in-dividuals who havo been prominent in the public welfare of the community. j "As some of our soldier boys have already given their lives in defense of freedom and liberty to all mankind and w;e know not but that others may be called to make this same sacrifice, in this tho greatest war in the history of the world, thereforo, it sreras fitting fit-ting and proper that a suitable plot in the city cemetery be set aside to I be used for public purposes,- as may be directed "by the mayor and commissioners com-missioners of Ogden City. "Thero is a plot, conslstingf six lots that is quite centrally locateoNind suitable for this purpose; I, therefore, offer the following resolution: "Bo it resolved by tho mayor and commissioners of Ogden city, that lots 9, 10, 11, 31, 32 of block 7, plot annex 2 -A of Ogden city cemetery, be, and the same arc hereby reserved and sot asido to bo used for public purposes, as may bo directed, from timo to tinio, by the mayor and commissioners of Ogden city..
