They bring direct news of conditions in the interior of Austria, having travelled from Salzerbad near Vienna, after being be-ing liberated. "Horrible food conditions prevail in Austria," said McLeed today, "and it is quite possible that a million persons; will die there this winter from lack ol i food, weakness and disease.
