Show oo 10 ffi FID S5Q 1 POLICE GDURT I i What appeared to the police as a brawl was the subject matter of caso in municipal court when H. G. White, R. A. Campbell and H. Winners, vere called before Judge Barker this morning morn-ing to answer charges of drunkenness and o disturbing the peace. The testimony of the police officers was to the effect all threo men wore tho worse for liquor and were fighting in dead earnest in a hotel near the cor- nor of Lincoln avenue and Twenty-1 fifth street on Sunday morning about I 3 o'clock. JI. G. White did not appear in court and forfeited bail to the amount of $150. ' Winners and Campbell both argued that, though they had fought, they were not drunk, nor had they taken any liquor at all. Judge Barker passed sentenco of 550 or thirty days in each of the latter cases. |
