Ogden sltors are expected Flag Presented An Impressive and patriotic coremony late this afternoon attended the presentation of a silken American flag to the judges of the district court by the ladies of the Woman's Relief corps of the Grand Arrav of the Republic Judge Alfred W. Agee accepted tho flag on behalf of himself and Judge Arthur E. Pratt and delivered an eloquent little speech on patriotism and Old Glory. Tho - flag will first be officially used on March 19, when a large class of foreign for-eign applicants will be examined for citizenship. Celebrate Tomorrow Owing to train delays, the Second squadron of the I Utah troops, homecoming from the Mexican border, will not arrive until tonight and for this reason the pa-triotlc pa-triotlc celebration at Salt Lake, scheduled sched-uled for today, will take place tomorrow, tomor-row, carrying out the original program pro-gram Captain J. Ray Ward of Troop K today requested all members of Troops K and B to assemble at the Bamberger depot at 10:30 o'clock tomorrow to-morrow morning to go in a body to take part In the celebration A large number of the cavalrymen assembled this morning for the trip, not having heard of the squadron's delay. oo |
