National league of Nursing Education and the National Na-tional Organization for Public Health Nursing, were scheduled to bring their convention here to a close. The American Nurses association has set on foot a nationwide movement move-ment to eliminate commercialism In tho employment of nurses by establishing estab-lishing in cities central registries, it Is planned, physicians and others desiring de-siring nurses Bhall apply Instead of applying to hospitals or general employment em-ployment agencies Adequate medical and nursing facilities fac-ilities for the Indians on government reservations are asked in a resolution resolu-tion adopted by the association in response re-sponse to an address by Miss Estai ene M. do Peltquestangene, a full blooded Klckapoo Indian nurse, who has been working among her people in Ohio for several years She said the trachoma and tuberculosis were the diseases most prevalent among the Indians. Funds now provided by the government for medical treatment and nursing were pitifully insufficient, insuffici-ent, she said. The National League of Nursing Education declared for national woman wo-man s suffrage. oo |
