Show Deaths and Funerals LITTLE. The 'funeral of Mrs. Mary E. Little was held yesterday afternoon in the Ninth ward meeting house, with Bishop's Counselor David F. Steele presiding. Friends and relatives rela-tives of the deceased filled the chapel to its capacity and the bier was cov-erod cov-erod with a wealth of floral tributes-Governor tributes-Governor William Spry, who first became be-came acquainted with Mrs. Little while serving as a Mormon missionary mission-ary in the Southern States, attended ; the service and was one the speakers speak-ers who eulogized her life. The other speakers were President Francis Stratford Strat-ford and Hiram Shook. Special music was furnished as follows: Solo, "Rock of Ages." Robert Greenwell; "Sister, Thou Were Mild and Lovely," Mrs. E. Wangsgaard; "Sacred Record," GeorgG C. Wilson, and "All Thro" the Night. ' William J. Kouw. Interment was in the city cemetery. nn |
