Show uu LUNCHEON. A social event of last TTrlday was the luncheon given by Mr. and Mrs. J Bullough, 355 Twenty-eighth street, in honor of Mr. and Mrs. A. Primeaux of Cheyenne. The evening was pleasantly spent, musical numbers being a feature. Luncheon was served at eleven o'clock. Those present were: Mr. nnd Mrs. A. Primeaux, Mrs. Walte, Harold Walte of Omaha, Mr. and Mrs. S. N. Gregory and two daughters and Mr. and Mrs. J. Bullough. POSTPONEMENT. The meeting and card party to have ben held Friday afternoon and ovening, June 22, by Silver Review No. 1, of the Maccabees, have been postponed post-poned on account of the farewell to the boys of the National Guard. SONG RECITAL THOROUGHLY ENJOYED. Ogden music lovers wero delightfully delightful-ly entertained last evening at the First Congregational church when Miss Ellen El-len Thomas, Instructor at the Ogden Conservatory of Music, presented Mrs. Melba Read Jones in a song recital Mrs. Jones was ably assisted by Mar-cellus Mar-cellus Smith, violinist and Miss Carrie Browning, pianist. Mrs. Jones is tho possessor of an unusually sweet soprano voice and in each of her numbers last evening showed fine tone quality and originality original-ity of interpretation. Her rendition of "Fellco" by Lleurance, was especially especi-ally commendable and the audience Insisted upon hearing it the Becond time. "One Fine Day" from Puccini's Madame Butterfly and Herodlade "Air of Salomo" by Grieg were heartily encored by the appreciative audience TROUSSEAU TEA. Miss Maud Folker entertained at a trousseau tea last Wednesday evening, June 14, at her home, S41 Washington avenue, the guests being members of Quoen Nest Order of Owls. Mrs. Watt Lloyd gave several piano and vocal selections.
