Show uu I CALLED SI DEATH Salt Lake, May 8. 'Many Salt Lake friends will learn with regret of the death last Saturday in Ephralm of Mrs. Elizabeth B. Bean, a pioneer of 1S52. Funeral services will be held Wednesday in Richfield at an hour yet to be determined. Mrs. Bean, who was the daughter of Jacob Baum and Agnes Harris Baum. died at tho home of her daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. Parley P. Peterson. Sho was the wife of the late Judge George W. Bean of Provo and Richfield, a prominent pioneer. Sho was president presi-dent of the Sevier Stake Relief society socie-ty for more than twenty years. I iiHHiiiESI in caiding, -weaving, spinning and other tasks that fell to the lot of the brae and sturdy pioneer women of Utah Her homo was ever open to th" public, as well as her friends, and for years was known as "The Free Hotel." so broad was her spirit of 1 ospltality. Mrs. Bean is survived by the following fol-lowing children: Mrs. Peterson, George T., C. P., Willard W.f Orestes U. and Mrs. J. S. Home. . nn |
