Show PIONEER OF 1847 DIES AT HOSPITAL. Salt Lake, April 27. Sylvester Bradford, 5S years of age, a pioneer of 18-17, a resident of Salt Lake county until 1SG4, since then making his home in Utah county, died yesterday at a local hospital, where he had beon for two weeks, although in failing health for more than a year. Funeral services will be held in Spanish Fork Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Mr. Bradford was born In Switzerland"" Switzer-land"" county, Indiana, and came to Utah in Captain Edward Hunter's company, reaching Salt Lake October 1, 18-17. He was a resident here until un-til 1864, when he removed to Utah county, making his home in Spanish Fork. He was for years engaged in the milling business and was a veteran vet-eran of tho Black Hawk war. Mr. Bradford is survived by two widows, Mary A. and Annie C. Brad- ford; seven sons, Rawsel S., Robert J., George W Niel G., Granville, Lester Les-ter and James Bradford, all of Spanish Span-ish Fork except George W. whose home Is in Benjamin. |
