The first big show of the ?aon at the Orpheum Theater, Monday, Oct. 25th. , vflj i The Ogdeii Theater i II "NO MATTER THE COST WE PLAY THEM" . I H 1 THE STRONGEST FEATURE WE HAVE EVER PLAYED SO STUPENDOUS SO TREMENDOUS SO OVERWHELMING 11 1 m THAT WE HAVE BOOKED IT FOR FIVE DAYS NEXT WEEK AND IF IT IS POSSIBLE TO DO SO, WILL HAVE IT RUN FOR ' 1 1 H 91 ONE WEEK. So you must see that we have a great production to bill it for such a long run. 111! '. Jj is called the SUPERDREADNOUGHT OF SCREEN DRAMAS and we consider it by far the.greatest photoplay ever seen in Ogden. i 111' ! I THIS IS NO EXAGGERATION, as you will agree, after witnessing a performance. m Nil ! The Management of the Ogden Theater personally guarantees this attraction to be all AND MORE them claimed for it. We had a 1 4. private showing of this feature, so to be sure that it was strong enough for a long run, and after seeing it, we were so enthusiastic it was B (II 1 1j quickly booked for five days; we have been reviewing photoplays fo a long time, but this is THE KING-BEE OF ALL WE HAVE EVER I ' HH SEEN. . K 1 1 took ONE YEAR to produce and COST SO MUCH that no company but one of the very strongest, like the Vitagraph Company, which K J ;j H produced it, could stand the expense. In the production of this super-feature, "The Chalice of Courage," the scenes that Cyrus Townsend jj k Brady wrote into the story, required a FULL YEAR for completion on the film. Rollin S. Sturgeon, under whose direction "The Chalice E l2;!!!1j of Courage" was produced, began the story in the late Spring and continued a. number of the scenes during the camping season. The late B II !!! Autumn was required for the first snow fall, where the hero carries the heroine to his cabin in the mountains, where they were isolated by I j I r the snow of the long, hard Winter. The Spring, with the heavy rains that melted the snows, causing streams to become mountain torrents, 9 i HH was when the heorine accomplished her fall from the cliff and was rescued miles away in one of the swiftest running streams in the Rocky 9 IM H Mountains. I !lr Anything more sublime than the scenery in 71 I I ' m would be hard to conceive and the film has a scenic splendor, the immense distances and the pine centered hills in photographic amplitude. O j 0II!I I ,j--. .- ydc chalice of Coyrage'9 I l is one of the strongest Blue Ribbon Features released through the V-L-S-E, its general attractiveness even taking precedence over 'The Jug- H if 1IPJ yj gernaut" and "The Sins of the Mothers," both produced by the Vitagraph Company.
