Show COW AND CALF HAVE DISTURBED THEIR SLEEP Property owners complained to the city board of commissioners this morning that some one in the vicinity of -149 Twenty-sixth street is the possessor pos-sessor of a bellowing and mooing cow and calf that make such a noise that their rest is great disturbed and sleepless nights aro th consequence. They ask that the commissioners take some steps to abate the nuisance, as ihe sanitary inspector has said he can do nothing for them. The matter mat-ter was referred to the superintendent of public affairs and finance, Mayor A. G. Fell. The petition of J. J. Brummltt and others for watermaln extension for fire protection was denied, the mayor explaining that It is too late in the season to make the improvement. The petition of property owners for an arc light on West Twenty-fourth streot was referreVl to the superintendent superin-tendent of streets. Tho petition of Manager P. D. Kline, of the Ogdcn-Logan & Idaho Railway company, to be given the privilege of building spur tracks from Seventeenth Seven-teenth street to tho Fair GroundB was granted. The official returns of the primary election of October 19 were presented by City Recorder Mrs. Florence O. Stanford and approved. on |
