Show ELEGTI1 HELD M ffiHTIl OF BEEJyil The Parents-Teachers' association of the Dee junior high school met yesterday yes-terday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock in the school building and elected officers offi-cers for the ensuing year. One of Miss Spencer's music classes entertained enter-tained the association with, a chorus. After President D. J. Thurman had talked to the association concerning the value and need of co-operation between parents and teachers, the election of officers was held with results re-sults as follows:"Mrs. S. B. Hinkley, president; Mrs. H. H". Goddard, vice president; W. L. Underwood, secretary-treasurer. It was decided that ihe next regular regu-lar meeting of the association would be held on Friday afternoon, October 12, at 2:30 o'clock. Special efforts will be made to have a large attend ance at this meeting and the program committee will arrange to havo half the time devoted to social entertainment. |
