Show IMS OF GOLD REACH PARIS Paris, 1 p. m., Aug. 20. American officers in charge of the relief of stranded Americans in France, arrived arriv-ed here on a special train from Cherbourg Cher-bourg today, bringing with them five sealed casks each containing $50,000 in gold and weighing 198 pounds. The money waa transferred to automobiles au-tomobiles in which the officers proceeded pro-ceeded to the American embassy accompanied ac-companied by a guard of four cvclist policemen. The party was mot by a number of American officers attached to the embassy here.
