I, OOAK WILL BE ENTERTAINED AT WEBER CLUB The opening guns in the big cam- j paicn of the Woodmen of the World will be fired on Monday evening 01 5th, when Head Consul I I Boak will address the citizens of Ogden. and t' j membership of Weber Camp NO. 74, at an open meeting at Woodmen Hall In Fraternity block This meeting marks the beginninr of a campaign bv the local camp for one thousand members which will be waged during the fall and winter months. District Manager C W Torrence will be on the ground during the campaicn tr assist in the extension work, while Weber Camp to a man will enter the lists In an endeavor to realize the ambition of the camp to surpass In membership any camp In the entire jurisdiction. That the W. O. W has made enviable progress, Is evidenced from the fact that it is recognized by the National Fraternal Congress of America, as one of the soundest financial fraternal societies in the country. Under the efficient management of competent head officers the order has grown from a few charter members to an organization almost a million strong at the present time. The meeting at Woodmen Hall Monday nieht ip the openlnn of the social so-cial activities in the camp for the winter months, and after the address by the head consul the balance of the evening will be devoted to dancing. danc-ing. Preceding the address Monday evening, even-ing, the officers of Weber ( amp will give a dinner to Mr Boak at the Weber club. Head Consul Boak will spend several sev-eral das In the Ogden district, visit inq camps in the northern part of I'tah and southern Idaho with District Dis-trict Manager Torrence. after which he wil visit the camps in Salt Lake City. |
