Show OGDEN MAN SAYS THE ATHLETICS SEEMED TO BE DAZED Jack McLaughlin, one of the promt- j nent members of the local Knightfl of Columbus lodge, has returned from a three weeks' trip to the Atlantic seaboard. His Journey was primarily primari-ly for the purpose of seeing the world's series baseball games at Boston Bos-ton and some of the inter-lengue games at New York City and Chicago. He carried out his plans to the letter, let-ter, lewlng the games between the Braves and Athletics at Boston from a seat directly behind the plate, where he had a clear view of every play His chief comment on these games was that the Athletics seemed to be dazed. From Boston he went to New York City where he saw a game between the Giants and Yankees, the best one, he said, that he witnessed In Chicago, Chi-cago, he was present at a game between be-tween the Cubs and White Sox and at Kansas City saw the Kansas City and Chicago Federals p . While at the latter city he met Johnny Rawlings. former shortstop for the Ogden team of the Union association, and now a member of the Kansas City Federals. In Rawlings' opinion, the Federals will Join with the American Ameri-can and National leagues next season Mr. McLaughlin also visited Philadelphia. Phila-delphia. Washington, D.
