Fmir hundred and twentv-seven have married and only four have been divorced, two of the four remarrying their former hus- bands There is now in many places a movement to make the domestic science course a part of the public school course. A woman is more likely like-ly to be interested in running her home if she knows how to run it All of us are interested in doinc those things which in early life we learn to do well Practical usefulness makes us happy. Education ought not to be based on the needs of a small class. It should meet the fundamental needs of everybody Thp girl born in ordinary ordi-nary circumstances who can take care of herself and her whole famih when necessary has a leeling of confidence, self respect, and vigor that makes for mental and physical health and th re fore for happiness Harper's Weekly. |
