The road takes the position that it is unable to build equipment fast enough to meet the yearly demand, which Is ever In creasing. Most or the farmers have storage cellars and the warehouses can man age a certain amount in that line, but the immense yield this year has crea ted an overflow which cannot posslb ly be handled by either or both re sources In addition, the farmers nat urally want to get their products mar keted to obtain the cash therefore, and if Ihe commission houses cannot find room to handle tnom. the buv ers as a matter of course "stand off the ranchmen, who in turn are ob llged in manv cases ,o delay paving their bills It is not Improbable that the as Blstance of the public utilities commls sion may be called in ;o try and find a remedy if possible |
