Show 1 Society DANCING PARTY A PRETTY AFFAIR. AF-FAIR. Last evening two hundred of Og-den's Og-den's charming young people gath ered at the Eagles hall in response to invitations issued by Miss Ellen Scowcroft and Heber Scowcroft. jr. daughter and son of Heber Scowcroft. Scow-croft. The affair was well appointed and quite one of the prettiest given this season. The hall and parlors were most effectively decorated In true holiday hol-iday style and true holiday spirit prevailed pre-vailed among the young people whose happy faces and gay attire presented a charming scene. A special caterer served dainty refreshments re-freshments during the evening " and the well known Eagles' seven-piece orchestra furnished excellent dance music. The dainty dance programs were given out as souvenir3. Both Miss Ellen and Mr Heber Scowcroft, jr., proved exceptionally capable entertainers. With the ringing of bells, blowing of whistles and other demonstrations of the incoming year, the merry party par-ty left the dance hall for their homes with New Year's greetings for eaclT other |
