Show oo ANOTHER CANNING FACTORY. American Fork, March 1G. At a well at'tended meeting of the citizens citi-zens of this City, the probable establishment estab-lishment of a canning factory was discussed and a committee appointed to make Investigations and secure data da-ta upon the probable cost of operating operat-ing a plant of sufficient capacity to tako care of all beans, peas, and tomatoes to-matoes that could be raised here. Joseph A. Law of the National 13vapo-rating 13vapo-rating company was present at the meeting and gave some data on the possibilities of a canning factory. 11 1b -the opinion of those Interested Interest-ed that American Fork and close vl- 'J cinity would bo an Ideal location for a canning factory of this kind and I that it could be operated at a good ' profit to the owners. The land in f tho bottoms, which Is a rich, loamy w soil, is naturally adapted for raising I beans and peas, and the bench laud I Is the very best for the production I of tomatoes. The splendid railway I facilities which the town affords for f transportation makes it an ideal lo- g cation for such an enterprise.
