Che vers, at pres I ent freight agent, is to be general agent of this district In charge ol both freight and passenger business He win probably have his office in the present city ticket office of the Union Pacific system. Although it is stated that the reorganization reor-ganization Is strictly a local affair and t is to be made because of the heavy business In Ogden, the rumor has spread that the move Is but one ol the many which are contemplated on the Union Pacific before the first ol the year The promotion comes to Mr. Chev-ors Chev-ors because of well known fitness, wide knowledge of the railroad traf He business and the general satisfac-tlon satisfac-tlon he has given shippers during the years he has been district frelchf agent with his headquarters In Ogden Mr Chevera haB been in the railroad business 33 years. It is expected that the move on the part of the Union Pacific system will j result in a number of new position to be filled by employees who must make their homo in Ogden.
