Aue 15 The annual meeting of the stockholders of the Monroe Creamery company was held here last night This company is composed principally of milk produc-l-crs each of whom owns a limited I amount of stock The secretary's report showed that the business was In excellent condition. condi-tion. More than $21,000 worth of I cheese has been sold during the year : and the stockholders received recently recent-ly a dividend of 12 per cent. It was decided at this meeting that a milk producers' dividend of 5 per cent be paid on December 1 of this year This dividend will be paid according to the value of the milk each farmer I sent to the factory' during Ihe year It was also stated by the secretan j that the price paid for milk had on the whole been more than that paid I by outside creameries. It was also decided that the milk producers should get whey in proportion pro-portion to tho milk furnished. II any one did not want it he could sell it The local factory produces an excellent ex-cellent quality of cheese, which is in demand In many parts of the state.
