Show Deaths and Funerals LEAVITT Information has been received here announcing the deathe of John Q Leavltt. a Utah pioneer and former Ogden resident, at his home In Garland last night Born in Hampton. Canada, on October 1, 1834, Mr. Leavltt came with his parents par-ents to Michigan In his childhood While a resident of that state he joined the Mormon church and camo to Utah In 18G0. After three years he removed to Farmlngton and to Salt Iake in 1S60. While a resident of that city he was a conductor and liter roadmaster on the Utah Central Cen-tral railroad from 1S69 to 1887. For the past 17 years Mr Leavitt resided In Garland He is survived by the widow, four sons and four daughters. Funeral services were held In Gar-hud Gar-hud yesterday and the body will arrive ar-rive here today enroute to Farming-ton, Farming-ton, where the Interment will be made. KINNEY John Fitch Kinney, aged 22 year? a drug clerk who has been employed at the Tabernacle Pharmacy, Phar-macy, died at the home of his mother, Mrs A. G. Goor, 2242. Adams avenue, at 2:80 o'clock yesterday afternoon. Death was the result of typhoid fever following an illness of two weeks. Born in Salt Lake on June 16, 1891, the oung man removed to Ogden with his parents ten years ago, resid ing here up to the time of his death He Is survived by the father. William Kinney, of Marysvllle; the mother and one brother. Lote. The hodv will lie In state at Larkln & Son's undertaking under-taking rooms from 9 a m. to 9 p. m. today, on Tuesday during the same hours, and n Wednesday until 1 oclock.
