'Old Folks: Day" Throughout the state the old folks have their day, when the aged, as the guests of the younger generations, arc given an outing, with banquet, music and good cheer Lately Mrs. W J Masters of Pen Argyl, Pa., has started a movement to have September 1 generally observed ob-served as "Old Folks' Day" and she has appealed to President Wilson to aid In establishing the holiday. The Utah plan is better than a fixed holidav. Here the different communities, goNerned, somewhat by weather conditions, select a day for the outing and the old people arc conveyed by train to some popular resort.
