Show II' Society OLD-FASHIONED HOUSE PARTY. Miss Bessie Williams was the ehr.rming hostess at a real old fashioned fash-ioned house party last night at tho I home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs B. H. G. Williams. The home was pre tlly decorate 1 with red, white and rreen crepe paper ai ranged in many artistic figures, and a number of potted plants were also used with pleasing effect. On the taUes in the dining room, were placed a larije number of small imitation imi-tation chicks, giving the guests a special reminder of the nearness of spring. The drawing room floor was waxed early In the evening and the jolly spirit of an old time dance engaged the attention of the guests for about two hours. The musical numbers were played bv Miss I'.essie Williams, .1 L Millard and Ezra H G. Williams. After the dancinp special instrumental instru-mental numbers were intermingled with social conversation and a vocal solo pleasingly sung by Miss Mabel Stevenson was also enjoyed A finely appointed supper, served In courses, by the Misses Bessie Lee and Grace Cole, kept all present tn a 1 most cougenial mood for the closing hour of the pleasant evenlnc and was the cause of many compliments to the hostess and the voting ladles assist- Inc. Llnsley returned yesterday morning from Chicago, where he has been residing for the past three years. He was accompanied by his mother ! who went to Chicago two weeks ago I for a short visit.
