Show Cave of Bones. An extraordinary "bone cae may be seen in the Island of TeneTifTe. It Is sltuatd near the summit of s lofty sea cliff near Orotava. close to the small plain of Le Pas, where peace was finally made between the conquering Spaniards and the Guaoohes. the original Inhabitants of the island Here tho Guanches made their bust stand, and the cave formed a shelter for the small remnant left of the tribesmen after tbe Spanish had finished fin-ished with them In former times j the place had evldontiy been a burial ground of tbe Ouanchee, and when first discovered mummies were found in it. now however only a large pile of bones remains.
