Show Society MOYES-TILLOTSON. One of the notable events of the season occurred Wednesday, March 26. when Leonard C. Tillotso.i and Elizabeth R Moves were married in the Salt Lake Temple A short honeymoon hon-eymoon was spent at the Hotel Utah, the popular young couple returning to this city Fridav, when an elaboratly elaborat-ly planned reception was tendered them at the home of the bride's parents, par-ents, 8219 Wall avenue. The Moves home, artistically decorated dec-orated for the occasion, together with the beautiful gowns cf the ladies aad the gentlemen in conventional black presented n scene long to be remembered remem-bered by those present Vases of roses and carnations were effectively placed throughout the rooms, lending beauty to the brilliancy brillian-cy of the uffair In a designated room the wedding presents were arranged for the In-1 spection of the guests, many rare and costly gifts being presented the young couple. Choice pieces of hand paint- ! ed china, &ilverwarv-and-, cut glMS were received together with other articles ar-ticles both useful and ornamental, too ' numerous to mention Among the gifts were elegant pieces of furniture. Later in the evening a most tempt- j ingly prepared supper was served in! the spacious dining room, where covers cov-ers had been laid for over 6o guests-1 Two long tables were arranged. Tall, vases filled with roses adorned the renter and ends of each table Many toasts were given and appropriately ! responded to The bride, who is a dainty hrn-nelte, hrn-nelte, looked lovely in her gown of I bridal satin patterned from fashion's latest models Mr. Tlllotson wore the! conventional black evening suit. Mr Tlllotson is an employe of the' Boyle Furniture company and highly high-ly esteemed by those who have the honor of his acquaintance. The bride formerly Miss Elizabeth Moyes. who tor some time was an efficient stenographer sten-ographer for Geo A Lowe Hardware j company, recentlj accepted a position with the local forestry sen ice office and has been employed there until In r marriage Mr. and Mrs Tlllotson will be at their beautifully furnished home after, April 1 at 235 Patterson avenue. CARD PARTY Mr and Mrs J. Peckenbaugh pleas-' antlj entertained a number of friends at their home, 371 Thirty-first street, last Wednesday evening, progressive high five being the main feature ot the evening's entertainment Prizes were won by Mrs Earl Ste-I Ste-I vens.
