As passed tho bill provides for tho admission of tho states of Oklahoma, to bo comprised com-prised of Indian Territory and Oklahoma, Okla-homa, nnd New Mexico, according to tho present boundaries, with Arizona eliminated. Ono of tho first amendments taken up was tho amendment prohibiting tho alo of Intoxicating liquors In what Is now Indian Territory for tho next ten years, and this was displaced with a subitltuto offered by Mr. dalllnger, which extended tbo nmondment to tbo cntlro state for a period of twenty-ono years, and this was adopted |
