LINN RELEASED ON PAROLE chicago feb 26 john A linn former clerk of the superior court of cook country by misuse of the funds of his office and sentenced to serve a term in the penitentiary was released tonight on parole and returned to ani cago in company with mayor busse an old time friend linn was released by the board of pardons after listening to a petition brought by mrs linn and to a plea by the mayor to the effect that through impaired health and from brooding over his conviction linn was losing his mind the petition bore the names of hundreds of prominent politicians and was accompanied by a strong resolution urging his release passed by the executive committee of the citizens association an organization which was largely instrumental in bringing about tho conviction vic tion
