After a pleasant Journey H we arrived in Chicago, tho headquartire H ol the Northern Etatei mission, Sunday jH rooming, Bept. 2nd ; attended meatlngof JH the Chicago bransh that evening and H met a number of tho Elders, faints and KH frlands, some of wham we were acquaint- ed with. After rpindlng a few days In IH Chicago visiting frlouda, taking In the H Ighti and visiting some of tho principal H buildings and parks, I was assigned to H labar in tho Michigan conference. Again H Uking the train, I arrived In the City of tM Detroit Sept Sth, whero have labored H since that time and have enjoyed ray H labors very much. H This Is a very pretty city, with btautl- fnl parka In arlous parts, Tho Uriels B aro well paved and keptelean, especially H in the main part ol the city.
