Show "" DISTRICT COUHT. Judge Lewis opened up the Movcmbcr term of Court hcic Monday; and khefollouing business busi-ness was transacted: PTcase it W. D. S. Har- W. A. Raddon was the only jury case tried, and that commenced com-menced Monday afternoon and lasted uutil Wednesday evening. The action was brought to recover re-cover damages in the sum of $35,000 for alleged defamation, of character. After being out for about one hour the jury returned a verdict in favor of defendant, "No cause of action." M.M.Warner M.M.War-ner and Henry Shields were attorneys at-torneys for plaintiff and V. I. Snyder and C, A. Callis for defendant, de-fendant, (Numerous probate matters were also heard and disposed of. Court adjourned to December i.Sthi 1905. |
