Show Mr. and Mrs. Lee Jones left Thursday Thurs-day for Salt Lake City to spend two weeks with relatices and friends. Mr. and Mrs. Vern Faddis and Mrs. Grant left Sunday for Fish Lake to spend a week. Mr. Wm. Grant who has spent the past two weeks in California returned home Sunday evening. ' The Ladies Aid and Missionary Society So-ciety of fhe Community Church met Friday afternoon at the church, l uncheon was served to twenty-five members. After the regular business meeting. Miss Lula Krepps, National Field secretary gave a very interesting talk on missionary work being already al-ready done and also spoke on work that is still to be done. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Hull announce the birth of a baby girl at their home in the Murano apartments. Mr. and Mrs. Mugfur were host and hostess to the O.F.F. club at their home in Copperfield Tuesday evening. Five-hundred was played and prizes awarded as follows: Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Hudson, first prize; Mr. and Mrs. James Denver, second prize; Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Keims, Consolation. A two course luncheon was served to the following members: Mr. and Mrs, Basil Dorman, "Mr. and Mrs.W. E. Scott, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Hudson, Mr. and Mrs. James Denver, Mr. and Mrs, Win. Keims. Mrs. Jennie Julian, Mr. and Mrs. Geo. West of Brigham and Mr.ajid Mrs. Joe Hunter of Salt Lake spent Monday evening at Lagoon. Mr. E. W. Born, Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Sliker and Mr. and Mrs. Geo West and boys spent last Sunday at Liberty Park. |
