Show The Times, MEETING OF The regular session of the city council met last Monday night July 3 1905. In the absence of the mayor Couucilman J. H. Salmon presided. Roil call showing a quorum present. The regular order of business was postponed until the next ednesday meeting to be held evening July 5, 1905. Pursuant to the Mayor orders, Engineer Kelsey was here and definite secure arguments were made to his service to carry out the Elec trie light plant. He explaiued his best method for the city to business. persue in this line of As soon as the plant and specification are ready the work of construction will begin at once. A committee was named to meet with Mr. Kelsey at Salt Lake, the forepart of next weekto look over the estimate of machinery and see to placing theorder for such as will require the most time to get same here when needed. The committee while at Salt Lake will lookup a mar ket for the Bonds. Council then adjourned. WEDNESDAY EVENING. The council met in adjourned session Wednesday evening with Mayor Croft in the chair. - Prayer by G. G. Reddon. Bills to the amount of about $250 were read aud ordered paid. . The city marshals reports was lead and accepted, ; ; reports read and re, ferred to auditing committee. , Treasurers reports read and referred to auditing committee. Recorders report read and bys motion referred to the auditing 1 committee. G. G. Reddon was allowed re bate on license of . 50, on account of going ont of business. By motion $13.35 was appropriated as the citys share, being one fourth of total cost of of cement walk in front of Co-o- p grocery department. A communication was received from A. S. Chamberlain, making application for position of electrician, was read and placed on file. Committee on celebration from the Coalville, Grass Creek and Bast Coalvillo Sunday school asked for the use of the park for July 24. The band was a big feature in making the day one of pleas ure for all and they were in their best playing from early morning till late in the even ing.
