entered the room and rendered what assistance he could to the unfortunate man the engineer called up the police station and sergt hempel and officer brown went to the hotel in the patrol wagon blick the prisoner had an old towel for the hang mans rope instead of a belt the towel was taken away from murray and he was placed in another cell with a companion who was given instructions to watch him
