| Show This Week We Honor I i This is one in a series of weekly articles written by the Week We committee of the Union Program Individuals are honored for contributions they have made to the University This week we honor Adrien ADRIEN FOOTE honored for activities a senior who has won many awards for and activity throughout her school SHE attended high school is Los where she was chosen Cotton Day and in where she received many scholarship such as the Bausch and Lomb Science the Lion's Club most outstanding and school Miss Foote also was for two years the chairman of Moab high school's delegation to the Model United Aside from her regular school she wrote the high school column in the Moab ADRIEN entered the University on a tuition and during her freshman year became a member of the Union Program Council and the Chronicle as well as being chosen chairman of the Union Crafts In her sophomore Miss Foote was made a member of Alpha Lambda the freshman women's honorary She was active in a member of the Student Handbook i and again chairman of the Craft WHEN Adrien began her junior year she was made chairman the Union Program of and member of the Union Board La She was tapped for the journalism scholastic Si Kappa Tau and a member of Theta Sigma Phi In her senior Miss Foote is president of Mortar Board dent of Theta Sigma Phi the class vice and a regional vice chairman of ANOTHER executive duty is her chairmanship of the Union Board House She was awarded the Dean of Students' meritorious scholarship and m addition to maintaining her grade point is work-ing 30 hours a week writing for the public relations department Adrien is a journalism major and languages and her plans for the future include being married on continuing writing on the side while keeping and grad in |
