Show BANFORD HEARING OPENS TOMORROW Seattle, Wash., Juno 26. Representative Represen-tative James M. Graham, of Illinois, chairman of the house Judiciary subcommittee sub-committee which will investigate the charges filed against United States Judge Cornelius H. Hanford, said today to-day he hoped to begin tho hearing tomonow, to hold sessions of six hours daily. Mr. Graham found on his arrival that Attorney John H. Perry, who filed the most serious charges against Hanford, had not returned from an eastern trip, and that Attorney Thom- as PL Honer, who also filed charges, was attending the Democratic national nation-al convention as a delegate. The investigators will subpoena Leonard Olsson, whose naturalization certificate Judge Hanford revoked, but tho Olsson case Is expected to occupy oc-cupy only a short time. It is expected that Judge Hanford will testify for himself. In order that tho testimony may bo taken In an orderly way, the Investigators Investi-gators will confer with' the attorneys for those who make the charges, so as to hear at one time, tho evidence on each charge and not skip from one charge to another. nn . |
