Great Interest has been aroused hero by the challonge sont by tho Hurtingham Polo club to the American Polo association to play a series of games for the American cup. Eight or ten of England's best players play-ers will go over to the United States so that In case of accident thero will bo plenty of men on hand to step Into In-to any gap. Tho team under the captaincy cap-taincy of Walter S. Burckmaster probably prob-ably will be selected from Lord Wode-housc, Wode-housc, Captain G. E. Bellvillo, Captain Cap-tain Leslie St. Cheapo, Captain J. Harris Lloyd, Captain R. G. Rltson and F. M. Freake, while Captain F. St J. Atkinson and B. A B Schret-ber, Schret-ber, with one or two othor players, will be asked to make the trip. Some Wonderful Records. Some of the team havo wonderful records. Walter S. Burckmaster acquired ac-quired fame with the old Cantabs team, the winners of the Hurtingham cup last summer Captain Cheapo was a great player with the team 'of 1911 and Captain Rltson has a fine Indian reputation.
