Child, ' grammar grade supervisor of the Salt 5 Lake public schools, appears to bo a ; favorite. Mr. Child has the indorse- l ment of the Salt Lake teachers' as- sociation at his back and It is thought ' that ho will be elected. Superintend- ent J. M. Mills of Ogden is tho in- I cumbent, but, as it is not the custom of the association to re-elect officers i he was not a candidate. The candi- l dates choBcn will be voted for tomorrow tomor-row between the hours of 9 a- m., and J 5 p. m., and the election results will be announced at the general session : on Tuesday at 7 o'clock. ) In addition to the president, a vice president and two three-year trustees tf are to be elected this year.
