A, Woodruff, Wood-ruff, Jointly celebrnted their birthday anniversary yesterday afternoon when the happiest and galest day of all tho year was onjoyod by tho little hosts, and their guests. The partj met at the Klrchcr homo, Twenty-second and Jbffcrson, where pretty little Individual baskots. well packed with daintily prepared lunch, were given to each guest, the whole company repairing to Liberty park, whero games and contests and tho awarding of prizes were climaxed by tho spreading of lunch on tho shady park lawn, all seated In a circle and enjoying to tho limit tho delicious limh nnil nnvnl anrv-fmt The various facilities rocently installed in-stalled at tho park for tho amusement amuse-ment of children wore a source of much pleasuro and the running contest con-test In which Dorothy McCabo and Edward Werthelmor were the winners win-ners of prizes and tho bean contest in which Well McCabo and Gene Wertheimcr wore tho winners wero productive of much merriment. Jr., and son, Arthur, Ar-thur, of Council Bluffs, Iowa are the guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Royle of 219 Thirtieth street Mrs. Charles Kempster was formerly Miss Martha Royle, sister of J Aj Royle. Madamo Swenson, who has been tho house guest of Captain and Mrs. W. E. Knoass during thosumraer months, will return to Salt Lako Sunday next, but will spend two dnys of each week in Ogden during tho. coming months. |
