Show WORK ON THE DOUBLE TRACK All of the grade work on the second sec-ond track of the Southern Pacific railroad, between Tecoraa and Lucin, Is now complete and nearly all of the track has been laid. The now track will be turned over to the opeiatlng department about December 1 and with the section of double track bc-itween bc-itween Tecoma and Montello, which is alreadv h tho hands of the operating department, will give tho Southern Pacific a continuous double truck foi twenty miles west of Lusin Workmen on the Lucln and Tecoma Teco-ma stretch, of track aro now laying track noar the latter' point and will complete this work within tho nex two weeks. Before the last rail is spiked down the ballasting willbe begun. be-gun. Tho completion of the lino will bo accomplished In less than thirty flats. The placing of this second track into servloe will greatly facilitate facili-tate the handling of trains over, this section of tho Salt Lake division. On the Oregon Short Line steel has been laid on the second track for four miles south of Ogden. This makes ho double track complete from this city to a point one mile south of the, Cope siding. Ballasting has been started on this stretch of track and It Is exDeeted '-at It will be placed In sorvlce sometime during the last of this month. Material is being distributed at ar-Ioub ar-Ioub points along the line, between Cope and Farmlngton. Al'l of the grading la practically completed with the exception of about two miles cut that has been uocesaary at a'ny point between Ogden and Farming-ton. Farming-ton.
