Show oo MAN-HUNT BY THE POLICE FORCE The police had a man-hunt shortly before noon today, and, with the aid of an automobile, they caught the fugitive, fu-gitive, who is booked at the police station as Sam Strong. Strong was. brought into court today to-day to answer to a charge of lascivious lasciv-ious conduct. He asked to bo allowed to have an attorney to plead the case for him, inasmuch as he denied being guilty of the charge The court set tho hour for trial at 10 o'clock tomorrow tomor-row forenoon, and the officers motioned mo-tioned to Strong to go bnck to his cell. Just as he stepped out Into tho hall the attention of one of the officers offi-cers was directed to something else, and Strong, Instead of going to his cell, strolled leisurely out of the police po-lice station, walked about half a block, and then did a Marathon for several hundred yards. He wasn't missed for a few mln- ' ulcs, but when It. was learned that he had escaped the officers gave chane Jailer Anderson pressed into service K. T. Myers, a chauffour- for James Pjngree, and hurried after Stron? in the auto.
