Show CELEBRATE BIRTHDAY. Ruth Craft celebrated her ninth birthday Wednesday, February 14, by Inviting nine of her little girl friends and playmates. Various games were played and a general good time was enjoyed by all. Later all were invited in-vited to the dining room whore a beautiful heart-shaped birthday cake with nine pink candles adorned the center of the elaborately decorated table, where all were seated, and dainty refreshments were served by Mrs Craft, assisted by Miss Selma Kelloy and Miss Gretchen Roler. Those present were Mary Carr, Helen Hel-en Moore, Claudia Roberts, Doroth Long, Hester Drew, Mildred Berry, Helen Mllis, Marion Mills, Hazel Turner. Tur-ner. Miss Ruth received many beautiful beauti-ful gifts. T. G. Mathews who has been an employe of the Pacific Fruit Express Ex-press has been promoted to a higher position with the same company In Los Angeles. Mlas Beatrice Brewer spent Junior week at the Sigma Chi fraternltv house at Cornell University, the guest of Ross Gwllllam. Miss Beatrice Hamil went to Elko Monday and will return tomorrow. Miss Hamil was one of tho guests at a big leap year ball given Wednesday Wednes-day evening in Elko. |
