Show BOY SCALPED BY WAGON WHEEL With moro than one-third of the scalp torn loose from tho skull, Ing-vald Ing-vald Jacobson, an S-year-old lad residing resid-ing at 313S Euclid, avenue, lies at his homo In sorlous condition, but fortunate fortu-nate In having escaped with his life. Tho boy fell from a hayrack and one of the wheels passed over his head. It Is believed that he will recover. W. R, Flinders, a farmer, was driving driv-ing south on Washington avenue, between be-tween Twenty-seventh and Twenty-eighth Twenty-eighth streets about 5 o'clock last evening, eve-ning, when the Jacobson boy attempt- cd to climb onto the side of the ve- hlclo. The driver saw the lad run to- . ward his wagon, but was not aware that the buy had lallcn until tho rear wheel bumped over tho youngster's head. Tho boy was picked up by George Wesaler and conveyed in an automobile automo-bile to police headquarters. City Physician Anna F Rols and Dr. J. W. Pidcock wore summoned. It was necessary to administer an anaesthetic before the wounds could be dressed, It was found that there, wore twp severe gashes, eight and 'six luchest in lohgth, and that more than one-tHlrd' of tho scalp had b'een'fo'rn looso from the skull.
