Show FORREST FOUND GUILTY. Nephl. Aug. 2. .Last evening Henry Hen-ry Forrest, an old resident of Nephi, was found guilty In Justice Coleman's court of having solti 'liquor Illegally to a detective who had been brought here from Salt I,ake City for the purpose pur-pose of catching some who are on-gaged on-gaged in the unlawful business. The evidence showed that Forrest sold liquor li-quor to the detective who furnished the Information that led to his arrest and conviction. Attorney Henry Adams defended the case and City Attornoy T. L. ,Foote prosecuted. The defense may ask for a new trial or may appeal to the district court This Is the second case of this kind to be tried tills week. James Boyle was found guilty of a similar charge last Monday The two cases have caused considerable interest here. |
