Last evening, at Kaysville, In the .leautlfiil home of Mrs Thomas Smith, occurred one of the most delightful June weddings on record In tho social so-cial annals of the pretty Davis county town. The festal occasion was in honor of the marriage of Miss Nancv Smith, niece and ward of tho host "and hostess and ono of tho most popular young ladles of Kaysville, to Mr. John H. Gibson, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. John H Gibson of Lay-ton. Lay-ton. The nuptial knot, making the happy young couple man and wife, was tied by Bishop Henry Blood, at 6:30 p. m . in the presence, of the Immediate relatives. In the evening a reception, attended attend-ed bv over one hundred guests, wn3 tendered the young couple The largo lawn surroundlag the home was overhung over-hung with varl-colored Incandescent lights, which made an entrancing scene Red and yellow roses and peonies, nature's gifts, blended their beautiful colors in a profusion of green, making the Interior of tho home a beautiful picture. At 9 o'clock a bounteous wedding supper was served and enjoyed to the fullest extent. Tho center of attraction at-traction in this part of the program, a six-story wedding cake surmounted (by a belfry that enclosed a dainty wedding bell, truly a superlative creation crea-tion of tho cakomakcr's art was made by Miss Louie Morgan. The 'hostess was assisted at supper sup-per ibv twt?0 charming young ladles, Intimate friends of the bride Numerous useful and beautiful gifts attested the popularity of the young couple. The merry party bioke up at 1 a. m., the guests departing with words of praise for host and hostess and best "wishes to the newly wedded couple for a happy Journoy on the sea of matrimony. A pretty home wedding occurred last evening at G o'clock when E J Larkln united in the holy bonds of matrimony, Miss Lazelle Miller and James Purrington in tho parlor ot tne cozy and prettily furnished new cottage cot-tage 2371 Jackson avenue, which had been made complete In all ita appointments appoint-ments for the happy young bride.
