Ray Hage of Elko was lri Salt Lake yesterday, and In speaking of his Tip Top property on Van Duzer creek, declares de-clares that ho thinks ho has a part of tho mother lodo from which all these old productive placer bods were originally ori-ginally washed. He has another properly prop-erly up there, the Badger, which gives much promise Ho expects to have considerable development work performed per-formed this summer. Mr. Hugo has just received word from tho front, and it is that an unusual unus-ual amount of interest is being shown by prospectors and mine operaters in that part of the state, from Contact on tho east, westerly to Jarbldge and Gold Crook; then along Bull Hun mountains and still farther westerly until -National is reached. A great many old placer hods are found all along that mineral ibolt lying only a few miles south of the Idaho state line. The White Rock group, upon which a Salt Lake crowd recently secured an option, Is located up there. It covers 425 acres of patented ground lying along one of the streams which is noted for its heavy yield of coarse gold. Some time age prospectors were sent over this property and at a cost of $400 thev cleaned up In gold $4,000, a gain of ten to one. Over on Van Duzer croek many small holes no larger than a room produced $3,000 to $4,000. Recently nlno sacks of high-grade quartz were taken from a streak 1.000 feet up tho hillside from tho productive stroam, and brought between $350 and $4Q0 This comes out of a blue formation, which some declare Is lime, but others oth-ers consider of an igneous naturo more resembling dlorlto. Jack Pot, twenty-five miles north of Tuscarora, somo of the old.
